Intelligentsia supports successful HEALTH-TECH proposal for Lithuania!

10.02.2015

Intelligentsia is very pleased to announce the first stage HEALTH-TECH proposal that they helped to prepare - for a consortium comprised of Lithuanian Universities (Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and Vilnius University), VTT and Lund University - has been recently selected for funding by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 Teaming programme.

The HEALTH-TECH proposal was among a select group of 31 retained by the European Commission out of 169 submitted by consortia from across Europe.

The Widespread Teaming action is a new feature under Horizon 2020, which will provide new research and innovation growth opportunities to the parties involved.

The HEALTH-TECH project will establish a Centre of Excellence in Science and Technology for Healthy Ageing in Lithuania. The first stage of the project will last one year and consist in producing a detailed and robust business plan for the funding and running of the Centre of Excellence.

Intelligentsia will support the project partners in the production of the business plan, which will be submitted to the European Commission for the second stage competition aimed at funding the implementation of the Centre of Excellence.

Intelligentsia is proud to take up the challenge with the HEALTH-TECH consortium partners and contribute to this very important project for Lithuania.
