Nano- and material technologies in Eastern Partnership countries presented to the European Parliament

Intelligentsia Consultants’ Managing Director, Giles Brandon, was invited to present on nano- and material technologies in Eastern Partnership countries (EPC) to the European Parliament, Brussels.

 

The presentation took place during the conference "Building together a knowledge-oriented and forward-looking EU Neighbourhood" held on 31 March 2015.

 

The high-profile event was organized jointly by the European Commission's DG Research & Innovation and the European Parliament's Foreign Affairs and Industry, Technology, Research and Energy committees. It was opened by the Chairs of both committees, Elmar Brok and Jerzy Buzek, together with EU Commissioner, Carlos Moedas, and the Latvian Minister for Education and Science, Marite Seile.

 

During his presentation, Mr Brandon highlighted important collaborative R&D work involving EPC and EU partners currently being done in the EU funded NANOMAT-EPC, SECURE-R2I and INTELUM projects. Intelligentsia Consultants played a vital role in helping to establish these projects.
