AERO-UA Kick-off meeting in Hamburg

On 11 October 2016, the H2020 AERO-UA project has been officially launched!

The H2020 AERO-UA is a new ambitious EU-funded project aimed at stimulating aviation research collaboration between the European Union and Ukraine through strategic and targeted support. The consortium is represented by four European and five Ukrainian organisations, including the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The partners gathered in Hamburg to discuss implementation of the project during its first year. In addition, they discussed a number of issues that might influence their work, such as approaching Ukrainian stakeholders, and problems of the aerospace industry in Ukraine. Upon the kick-off meeting completion, the partners held a separate discussion dedicated to the activities to be carried out within the framework of the six pilot projects.  

The EC was represented by the project officer, who gave the partners recommendations concerning the project implementation, and answered their questions.  

The partners are looking forward to establishing fruitful collaboration and achieving new scientific results during the course of this 3-year project.
